The minimum academic qualification for admission to B.Tech./B.E. program in Rajasthan is to pass with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to “SC/ST/Non creamy layer OBC/ Non creamy layer SBC” of Rajasthan State) in the subjects combination as given below taken together, in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) of Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or any other examination recognized equivalent thereto by Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan/Central Board of secondary Education (CBSE). B. Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech./B.E. courses shall be as under:
Course Compulsory: Physics & Mathematics
Subjects any one of the Optional Subjects B.Tech./B.E.
- 1. Chemistry
- 2. Bio-technology
- 3. Computer Science
- 4. Biology
Only those candidates shall be eligible who have passed in each subject of above combination and fulfils the minimum academic qualification as mentioned above
The candidate must possess B.Tech degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination.
Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
D.Pharm (Diploma of Pharmacy) holders are eligible for admission into B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) into the second year directly via Lateral entry in india. A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
It is mandatory to pass in individual subjects – English Compulsory, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
In order to be eligible, one must has done B. Pharm. with 55% marks from any recognised university.
Graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and OBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination.
